Notes:
Robert Armstrong originally signed with the Virginia Cavaliers in February of 2002, choosing UVa over Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and Pittsburgh. Projected as a defensive tackle, he is skilled enough to switch to the offensive line if needed. Armstrong can bench over 450 pounds, and used his strength and agility to impress at the 2002 VHSCA All-Star Classic. He enrolled at Fork Union Military Academy for the 2002-2003 year in hopes of gaining the necessary eligibility qualifications.
Armstrong and Virginia could not get things worked out, so he committed to Maryland.
