There’s an old adage with the acronym K.I.S.S. that means “Keep It Simple Stupid.”
Over the past few weeks – and really seasons – we’ve dissected the Virginia offense ad nauseam. The offensive line play has been targeted regularly. The receivers need to make more plays and drop less passes. The quarterbacks have been rotated and roasted for decision-making. Offensive coordinators Bill Lazor and Steve Fairchild have had their play-calling analyzed over and over.
While all of those things have deserved the focus they received, let’s keep it simple shall we?
It’s the turnovers stupid.
