Last week was no fun. This week was not much better in some respects, and certainly no better in terms of the result.

A Game Thing

A friend emailed me earlier this week, saying how important he thought this game was for the program and, I think, looking for a little assurance that the Hoos could pull it off.

My response to him: “As long as we minimize the mistakes, we can avoid this game turning into a shootout. We can’t win a shootout but if we keep things clean, I think we can keep [Ball State] in the teens, maybe the low 20s, and we can win that kind of game. We really should win that kind of game.”

So, how did that pan out?
