Charlotte (Punta Gorda, FL) offensive tackle Grant Polk verbally committed to the University of Virginia on June 8, 2014, which was the day he stepped on Grounds for the first time ever. The 6’6”, 290-pound senior returned to Charlottesville this past weekend to make his official visit to UVa.
“It was great. I had a great time,” Polk said. “I got to eat a bunch of good food. UVa had a great win. It was a great time.”
The Sunshine State native enjoyed the opportunity to get to know player host Eric Tetlow and other future teammates, as well as spending more time with the coaches.
“I have a great relationship with the coaches,” Polk said. “I met pretty much all of the players. They are a great group of guys.”
