What if Kevin Parks didn’t fumble for the first time in 299 carries? What if Florida State’s Cason Beatty hadn’t uncorked a 67-yard punt and set up a game-changing interception inside the 10? What if Khalek Shepherd didn’t slip on second-and-three from FSU’s eight? What if that Greyson Lambert pass had been just two feet forward?
UVa held its own for much of Saturday’s game with No. 2 Florida State before the Seminoles prevailed 34-20. The series of plays above plus a few others hang there as moral victory fodder. Of course, you can play that game the other way too – what if FSU held on for a potential pick-six in the fourth quarter for example?
