The Virginia men’s basketball team dominated the second half en route to a 65-42 win against Clemson on Tuesday night. The Cavaliers’ post players were a big part of the storyline for a variety of reasons. The Double Bonus takes a closer look.

Quick Take With Isaiah Wilkins

Virginia freshman Isaiah Wilkins did not play in the first two ACC games, but he has picked up double-digit minutes in the last two outings. He played 14 minutes at Notre Dame and 11 minutes at home against Clemson. Against the Irish, he had 4 rebounds. Against the Tigers, he had 5 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist.

“We’ve played some teams that have been real mobile at the four like [Pat] Connaughton at Notre Dame and I thought we were struggling. I just thought we were a little flat and he’s such an active player,” Cavalier coach Tony Bennett said. “You look at him in his stance. He’s got a textbook stance with the way he spreads out. He’s real active on the ball. I thought ‘Let’s get a lift’ because he plays so hard in practice whether he’s running scout team or not. He’s just a relentless worker.”
