UVa LB Commit Robert Snyder Described As Tough, Smart

This past spring, Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA) standout linebacker Robert Snyder underwent surgery to remove a benign growth in his chest. Two days later, he was back at school.

“I don’t like missing school,” Snyder said with a laugh.

It’s no wonder “tough” was the first adjective Collins Hill head coach Kevin Reach used to describe Snyder, who has started 23 straight games for the Eagles varsity football squad. Coach Reach also described the future Virginia Cavalier as “smart”, adding that Snyder is “one of my all-time favorites.”

Snyder, a 6’3”, 225-pound prospect, played outside linebacker for the Eagles last season as a junior. His senior season he will man the middle linebacker spot, which is where most college coaches – including UVa’s – projected him to play.
