For the 14th consecutive time the Cavalier football team lost a road game. Nothing to see here. Move along, same ole, same ole.

Enough already!

Clearly the Virginia Cavaliers are a victim of not enough talent, not enough speed, and not enough coaching. Over the course of the season, the Cavaliers have played in some close games against good teams losing by seven points to Notre Dame, a touchdown to Pittsburgh, and by six to Miami. They collapsed in the second half at eight-win North Carolina – another habitual issue we’ve seen before.

Simply put, there’s not enough there for this team to win on a consistent basis. That falls on the people who coach and who recruited, evaluated, slotted, and developed the talent. There is no question Virginia has needed to go in a different direction for some time now. The current regime has not developed a consistent winner and has had more than adequate opportunity to get it done.
