Virginia continued its downward spiral with a loss at Louisville on Saturday.
Starting with the last two games of 2011, the Hoos have lost 34 of 48 games, including 15 consecutive contests away from Scott Stadium. Sadly there is little to report in terms of positive trends other than the fact that I believe the young men who represent the orange and blue truly care about the University of Virginia, the program they represent, the coach who brought them to Charlottesville, and most desire to play winning football. With nine losses by one score or less in the last two seasons, including Saturday’s 38-31 loss to Louisville, the players deserve the tools, assets, and coaching to help them win those games.
