When a team sets seasonal highs on both sides of the ball for ineptitude in a college football game, there’s not a lot of mystery as to where the game grades come out. In fact, the 42-point loss to Virginia Tech that ended the Hoos’ season is a larger margin than the combined 20 points that separated the two schools in UVA’s last four losses. You have to go back to 2011 to find a bigger whuppin’ in Virginia’s 38-0 home loss to the Hokies that year.
