Cavs Host 4-Star Tight End

Tight end is one of Virginia’s biggest positions of need in class of 2015 recruiting. This past Saturday, one of the most coveted tight end prospects in the class was on Grounds for an unofficial visit and left impressed.

“UVA is on the rise def something I could see myself wanting to be part of #cavaliers.” – tweeted Avon Old Farms School (Avon, CT) junior Chris Clark, a 6’6″, 245-pound prospect.

Alabama, Auburn, Boston College, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Maryland, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Virginia and Virginia Tech are among the 40-plus schools that have offered Clark, who is rated a 4-star prospect by 247Sports.com.

Virginia has offered at least three prospects out of Connecticut in the class of 2015. Besides Clark, the Hoos are in on New Canaan defensive end Zach Allen and Suffield Academy defensive linemen Christian Wilkins. Allen attended UVa’s Junior Day on March 1.

Stay tuned for more on Clark soon, but in the meantime check out his junior season highlights below.
