Still No Sign Of THE Brennan Armstrong
While the starting Cavalier quarterback ended the 2021 season as the program record holder for single season passing yards, Virginia fans are yet to see the same quarterback take the field this season. While Armstrong averaged 8.9 yards per reception and boasted of a 65% completion percentage with multiple 500+ yard games last fall, he has struggled throughout the first 5 games of 2022. He has posted a 52% completion percentage for an average of 5.9 yards per reception. On top of this, while he ended 2021 with 31 touchdowns and only 10 receptions, this year, he has only thrown for 4 touchdowns, while throwing 5 interceptions.
