Valor Christian Academy (Highlands Ranch, CO) offensive line prospect Dillon Reinkensmeyer ended his high school football career the way every senior dreams… as a state champion.
“It felt amazing first of all, to just play in that game is a blessing. The atmosphere was amazing and it truly was the best way to end my high school football career,” Reinkensmeyer said, referring to the Colorado Class 5A state title game against Pomona in Denver’s Mile High Stadium. Valor Christian won, 29-26, capturing its sixth state title in seven years.
As a senior, the 6’5”, 270-pound senior played full-time at offensive tackle, where he helped pave the way for an offense that totaled 3,023 passing yards and 1,992 rushing yards, and also played some on the defensive line.
“I thought that I played well on both sides of the ball and helped my team achieve success,” Reinkensmeyer said.
