Despite a disappointing season-ending 4-0 loss to UCLA in the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament, the Virginia men’s soccer team has much to be proud of when looking back at the 2006 season. The Cavaliers finished with a 17-4-1 overall record (5-3 ACC) and returned to the College Cup for the first time since 1997.
