5 Things I Learned From Maryland To GT

The Virginia men’s basketball team seems securely in the NCAA Tournament field with two regular season ACC games to play. To get there, the Hoos had to endure a rollercoaster ride the past two weeks or so that featured a road win at Maryland, two tough road losses at Virginia Tech and Miami, and two home battles with Florida State and Georgia Tech.

But that’s what this month is all about. February is supposed to weed out the weak, to identify the “not so bubblicious” teams in the crowd. Late season conference play tests mettle and shows you what your team is made of. Basically, there’s plenty to learn from league play. So what was there to learn about the Cavaliers?
