DURHAM, N.C. – A week after being held to just 20 rushing yards at Florida State, the Virginia ground game got back on track against Duke on Saturday, amassing 348 yards on 61 carries. Spearheading the resurgent rushing attack was Alvin Pearman, who ran 38 times for 223 yards. Both of his totals (for carries and yards) were one shy of tying Virginia’s single-game marks.
