6-2, 220-pound Williamson High School (Mobile, AL) defensive end Antonio Coleman has drawn official offers from several Division I-A programs, including Florida State, Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, Louisville, Clemson and Southern Mississippi. UVa has been sending Coleman letters since last year, but have the Cavaliers extended an official offer?

“Not at this time,” Coleman replied. “I’ve been receiving a whole bunch of letters from them. I get maybe one letter each day or at least one every couple of days. They’ve been rolling in for a while. But I haven’t spoken to anyone from there. I don’t have an offer.”

If UVa were to offer, would Coleman be interested.

“Yes,” Coleman replied. “I’ve checked them out over the internet. They have a great football team.”
