Last weekend, St. Peter’s Prep (Jersey City, N.J.) standout and UVa commitment Rashawn Jackson made an unexpected official visit to the University of Nebraska. The 6-1, 250-pound tailback prospect was upset with UVa coaches over apparent misinformation. UVa assistant coach Mark D’Onofrio met individually with Rashawn on Tuesday…is everything straightened out?

“Oh yeah, we got a lot of things straightened out,” Jackson said. He was under the impression originally that UVa was taking only one tailback. “We talked about some things. Coach D’Onofrio was telling me that after they saw me [earlier this year before he committed] they decided to get another back. It was a miscommunication. We’re on a clean slate now and everything’s cool.”

Does this mean that Jackson is now 100% committed to UVa?

“Yes,” Jackson replied. “I’m not looking at any other schools.”
