Last weekend, 6-5, 220-pound jumbo athlete Kyle Newell made an official visit to the University of Maryland. The Catholic (Bethlehem, PA) star, who made an official visit to Boston College the weekend before, talked about his trip to College Park.

“It was ok,” Newell said. “The highlight was visiting the campus. It was nice. I liked that it was in the city.”

Did the visit put Maryland ahead of Boston College?

“I wouldn’t say they are too much higher, but I did like this visit a little better,” Newell said.
