Kyle Newell , an outstanding 6-5, 220-pound jumbo athlete out of Catholic High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, visited the University of Tennessee this past weekend. It was his fourth overall official visit. How was the experience?

“It went ok,” Newell said. “I’d say the highs were seeing the facilities and meeting the coaches.”

The University of Tennessee enjoyed a big weekend of verbal commitments. Newell, who has stated that he would like to take all 5 visits before announcing a decision, was not one of them.

“No, not really,” Newell replied when asked if he considered making a verbal commitment while on his official visit in Knoxville.
