Liberty (Bealeton, VA) recruit Alex Stadler ’s scholarship offer list is one of the fastest growing ones among state of Virginia recruits. The 6-6, 300-pound offensive guard now holds double-digit scholarship offers and there is good reason to expect his list to keep growing throughout the spring.

“It’s up to 14 right now,” Stadler said of his scholarship offers. Among the most recent scholarship offers are Maryland, Miami and Virginia Tech. Georgia Tech, UNC and Syracuse are among the others that have offered. “I had no idea it would get like this. I was wishing that I’d have some place to choose, but now it’s pretty much anywhere I want to. It’s crazy.”

Stadler was excited to see two ACC schools in particular jump into the mix recently.

“[Virginia] Tech of course because I’ve always been a childhood fan of there’s,” Stadler said. “And [yesterday] I just got offered by Miami. They got tape last week, evaluated it and called to offer. Miami’s got great tradition football-wise. All of the schools that have offered me are great athletically and academically, so it’s going to be a tough decision to make.”
