Virginia is one of 12 schools to offer a scholarship to Josh Adams , the outstanding 5-11, 170-pound tailback out of Cary High School in Cary, North Carolina. This month, UVa head coach Al Groh made a call to Adams.

“Coach Groh called me and talked to me over the phone,” said Adams, who visited UVa for a junior day earlier this year. “He told me some of the things he likes about me and described the things he saw when he watched me on film. And then coach Dex came down and I met him also. When I went up to Virginia on junior day, I got to go up to the stadium and in the locker room. I saw who some of the alumni were who went on to the NFL, such as Tiki Barber.”

Where is Adams in his decision making process?

“I’m just trying to find out little things about the schools that I like,” said Adams, who has no plans for the summer at this point. “I’m trying to find positives and I’m trying to find negatives. I guess my decision’s going to come down to the end. I think I may wait until Signing Day.”
