Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC) wide receiver LaMarcus Bond boasts around 10 scholarship offers, including the most recent one from Boston College. But the 5-9, 175-pound prospect currently has five favorites among the group of offers. Which programs are on top?

“My top five would be Virginia Tech, UVa, UNC, N.C. State and probably Clemson,” Bond said. “That’s the top five for right now. They are kind of separating themselves a little bit.”

In-state wise, the N.C. State Wolfpack got a big boost when Bond tripped to Raleigh for the summer camp. It was earlier this month, from June 12th thru the 15th.

“They’ve got a good weight room facility and I like the coaches,” Bond said of N.C. State. “The locker room and the weight room are big. I stayed in the dorms and they were great dorms…they were big.”
