Al Groh and company landed commitment #14 in the 2006 recruiting class today, when a star wide receiver/defensive back out of the state of New Jersey selected the ‘Hoos over Wisconsin as well as offers from Illinois, Maryland, Rutgers, Vanderbilt and Purdue.
“My choice is Virginia,” 6-2, 185-pound Egg Harbor Township (Egg Harbor, N.J.) recruit Cedric Jeffries said. “I just kept talking to the coaches, so I figured I’d go ahead and commit. I also liked the academics and the football program.
“[Today] I talked to coach Mike Groh and then I talked to Al Groh. I told them I was going ahead and committing. They said they were excited.”
