Mount Hebron (Ellicot City, MD) star DE/OLB Aaron Maybin has been very deliberate with respect to his decision-making process. The 6-3, 220-pound blue-chipper cut his list down to 15 earlier this summer and only recently has decided on three schools that will receive official visits. About eight schools are vying for the final two official visits.

“I cut down to 15 and, among the 15, I have decided on three official visits so far,” Maybin said. “They are Virginia Tech, Penn State and Florida. The last two are up in the air at this point. I’m going to let it play out and see which schools fall into those two spots.

“The schools I’m still considering, each one has been real specific about what they have to offer me. They have all indicated how I can not only leave a better football player, but a better person. That’s what I’m really looking for.”
