4-star running back Josh Adams boasts double-digit Division 1A offers, including offers from some of the nation’s top programs. But recruiting isn’t a big issue right now for the Cary (N.C.) star, who wants to focus on his senior season.

“I’m not trying to think about it,” Adams said of recruiting. “It is in the back of my head, but I’m really trying to focus on my season. I tell the coaches that I understand that they have a job to do, but so do I. My job right now is to focus on my senior season.”

Adams, who said he is “not certain” how many official visits he will make (if any), has heard this month from coaches from “N.C. State, Virginia, LSU, Tennessee, UNC and Clemson.” All have offered.
