Malvern Prep (Malvern, PA) standout Trey Womack already has four Division 1A scholarship offers in the fold, but he may be on the verge of landing more in the near future. The 6-1, 180-pound wide receiver/defensive back is now hearing from several Big 10 schools and one SEC power in addition to the previously interested programs. Virginia continues to heavily recruit him as well.

“Northwestern and Tennessee are really starting to get the ball rolling,” Womack said of the schools picking up their recruitment of him. “Minnesota is another team showing more interest. Virginia, Tennessee, Northwestern and Minnesota are really starting to create relationships with me. West Virginia is starting to pick it up, too.”

Michigan State, Nebraska, Rutgers and Virginia are the schools that have offered at this point. According to Womack, neither Michigan State nor Nebraska has been in contact very much recently. Womack originally wanted to decide during his senior season, but it now looks like he’ll be waiting at least until the end.
