I’m a sucker for symbols. In my last article, I was ga-ga over five minutes in the Florida State game that seemed to symbolize the overall victory and hopefully some great trends for a great season. The inspired performance by Marques Hagans, the crucial special teams play, the interceptions and aggression from the defense. With the regular season now finished, that symbolism stopped with the final gun that night. Most of those trends didn’t bear out in the last half of the season.
