6-6, 270-pound offensive lineman recruit Hutch Eckerson has had a shake up at the top of his list. The Lumberton (N.C.) star, who has taken official visits to Virginia and N.C. State, now favors two schools and one of his original favorites has fallen from the top.

“Virginia had been in the top place for a long time,” Eckerson said. “I’m not going to lie. Ron Prince leaving has hurt them. He was a big reason why I’ve had Virginia at the top for so long. I expected him to be my coach. Him leaving really has made me look at the other schools in a different way. Before, I thought I would take other visits and have fun but Virginia would probably be the place I’d end up.”
