Despite not gaining any commitments from last weekend, Virginia has received good reviews from the prospects that made official visits. Hyde Leadership (New Haven, CT) OT/DE Bruce Campbell rated his visit a 9 and now Kenny Britt , a star 6-4, 190-pound wide receiver out of Bayonne (N.J.), appears to have had a great time as well.

“Everything went really well,” Bayonne head coach Frank Blunda said. “He was hosted by Mike Brown. He had a real good time. He had a chance to meet with the coaches and the players. He was really impressed with the campus. And he got a lot of positive feedback from the players about everything there.”

UVa’s program has a definite New Jersey influence and has commitments from six prospects from the Garden state in the 2006 class. Is the New Jersey influence a positive for UVa?
