Things have happened awfully fast for Lee County (Sanford, N.C.) star Dennis Godfrey . After committing to Wake Forest last summer, the 6-3, 240-pound tight end/defensive line prospect had a fantastic senior season and followed that up with an outstanding performance during the NC/SC Shrine Bowl week. After receiving a handful of new scholarship offers, Godfrey set up five officials for this month and plans on taking each and every one before making a decision.

“I’m going to take all five of my official visits,” said Godfrey. “I’m trying to go somewhere I can have a big impact. I want to help change the face of a program. Also, graduating is a major goal of mine. I want to go somewhere where I can graduate and be something because of that degree.

“All of these schools are really close. I’m trying to find one thing I like about one over the rest. Hopefully that will help me make my decision.”
