Mr. Versatility. Likely a very good nickname for Mark Ambrose , a 6-6, 223-pound tight end prospect out of Mount Carmel High School in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania. His versatility and ability on the field has attracted an offer from the University of Virginia and two other 1A programs heading into the Evaluation period.

“Mark has been offered by Virginia, Syracuse and Temple,” Mount Carmel head coach Mike Brennan said. “Akron and Northwestern seem very to close to offering and Vanderbilt is coming in soon, so I think he may just be scratching the surface with that.”

In addition to playing football, Ambrose was the center on the varsity basketball squad this past season and is currently on the track team. In track, he participates in the 110-meter hurdles (qualified for districts), the 400 meters, the 4X400 relay and the discus (qualified for districts). As he says, he basically does whatever the track coach tells him to do.
