6-6 ½, 255-pound Salesianum (Wilmington, DE) tight end Andrew Szczerba is hearing from a number of other schools besides the nine that have extended official scholarship offers but, unless those programs come in with offers soon, it may be too late. The standout prospect is hoping to make a decision before the end of summer.

“I talked to my family and I’m definitely going to make a decision before my football season and school starts,” Szczerba said. “We actually have a family event this weekend, so after we get through that then we’re really going to sit down and get heavy into recruiting and everything.”

Asked if he would be narrowing his list to a certain amount of schools or actually choose the right one for him, Szczerba said “I think the next step is finding the right one for me.”
