On Wednesday, St. Marks (Dallas, TX) star recruit Sam Acho arrived in Charlottesville for his first ever visit to the University of Virginia. After a day-and-a-half of spending time with coaches and players, watching conditioning workouts, and watching film, Acho had some positive things to say about his experience.

“I was impressed with the players’ work ethic,” said Acho, who was shown around grounds by OL Ian-Yates Cunningham . Cunningham of course hails from Texas as well. “They had a run in the morning and I was impressed with how they looked like a team. Then I talked to coach Groh and coach Groh was impressive also. “Coach Groh is a great coach and he has a great defensive mind.”

The 6-2, 250-pound standout with 4.7 40 speed also met with new defensive coordinator Mike London.
