Somerville (N.J.) star Mason Robinson , a player whose 4.4 speed and playmaking ability helped him garner 10 scholarship offers so far, is still very much considering the University of Virginia. And while Mason’s recruitment does not appear close to being complete, he could make a few visits to schools in the coming months.

“There hasn’t been anything specific with respect to his recruitment,” Somerville head coach Kevin Carty said. “He hasn’t been on any trips. He hasn’t been to any camps. He might take a few official visits during the season. I think that would be a great idea.”

Boston College, Colorado, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, Rutgers, Temple, Vanderbilt and Virginia make up the ten schools that have offered the talented 5-9, 182-pound running back/cornerback prospect. Coach Carty mentioned Boston College, Rutgers and Virginia specifically as some of the “good” programs that have offered…so are those the current leaders?
