6-2 ½, 250-pound OLB/DE prospect Sam Acho has seen his recruitment blow up this summer. Two of the more recent official offers to come in are from Southern Cal and Texas, respectively. The St. Marks (Dallas, TX) standout visited UVa last month and had a great time, but are the Cavs still in the running?

The answer is yes.

“At the moment, I have slotted five schools at the top of my list,” Acho said. “They are, in no particular order, USC, UT, Virginia, Stanford and Notre Dame. Notre Dame hasn’t offered, but they are recruiting me hard.”
