Palisades Charter (Pacific Palisades, CA) offensive tackle recruit Mitchell Schwartz has seven official scholarship offers, literally from all across the country. The University of Virginia is one of those programs and it received an unofficial visit from the 3-star prospect this past weekend.

UVa first entered the picture in May, when one of the coaches went to the Palisades Charter campus. The coaches, including Coach Borbely, reviewed the film. They liked what they saw and 6-5, 305-pound Schwartz received his offer in late May/early June and “I’ve been in touch with them ever since.”

It was not Mitchell’s first trip to UVa, but it certainly has been a long while since he was there.
