Ballou (Washington, D.C.) defensive end Romale Tucker made an official visit to the University of Illinois on the weekend of September 23rd. Tucker, who had committed to the University of Virginia three weeks prior, discusses the recent visit and whether or not he has reopened his recruiting process.

Tucker made the trip with Ballou teammates Marvin Austin and Lamar Milstead . All three were on official visits.

“I had a lot of fun out there,” Tucker said of his visit to Illinois. “I watched them play. They didn’t win, but they played all right. I heard they had a lot of young players and, on the next level, it’s all about experience on the field. I met some of the guys from the team and I talked to some coaches.”
