Virginia continues to recruit 5-9 ½, 180-pound Somerville (N.J.) standout athlete Mason Robinson , a player who has been timed at 4.4 in the 40-yard dash. Robinson has already made one official visit so far – to Michigan State on the weekend of September 23rd – and another school seems destined to get an official as well. Is UVa still under consideration?

“The only thing that has happened recently with his recruitment is that he made an official visit to Michigan State,” Somerville Head Coach Kevin Carty said. “Other than that, nothing is really new. Maryland had a bye last week, so they stopped by the school. He also told me he wanted to try to make an official visit to Boston College the first weekend after our playoffs. Other than that, he hasn’t made any decisions on schools or anything.”

Carty talked about Robinson’s experience in East Lansing, which was for the Notre Dame game.
