Three-star offensive lineman Mitchell Schwartz has been tough to reach over the past month as he focuses on his senior season, which appears to be going well. Not much has changed with regards to his recruitment, although if anything had it still may be tough to get it out of the talented Palisades Charter (Pacific Palisades, CA) star.

“A lot of people want that answer from him,” replied Palisades Charter Head Coach Leo Castro when asked if Schwartz was close to making a commitment. “His parents even want to know. He’s been kind of tight-lipped about it. Every trip he’s taken, he’s enjoyed. I’m not one to pressure. Everybody wants to know, but I think he’s waiting to see what other schools may do. Schools like Miami and Notre Dame have inquired about him and I think he’s intrigued by that. Those schools want to see more film.

“His mom and dad are working with him and not pressuring him.”
