6-5, 285-pound defensive tackle prospect Zane Parr had a very good conversation recently with UVa primary recruiting coach Bob Price. Price, who recently made a visit to Williamsport Area High School, impressed the Pennsylvania standout.

“Coach Price came down to the school last week,” Parr recalled. “In our last conversation, we talked about education and football and how they’d love to have me there. He wanted to know if I had anything to ask them. He told me that, with my grades right now, that I should be fine to be admitted. Everything is working out good. He said if I am good enough then I will play. If I need time, they I could red-shirt and see what happens.

“For him to visit the school, it definitely showed me that they weren’t kidding around and that they would definitely like to have me at Virginia.”
