Schwartz Schedules Second Visit to UVa

The offensive line continues to be a big need for the Virginia staff in the 2007 recruiting class. So, with scholarship spots dwindling, look for the staff to try and bring in at least two quality big men. Al Groh and company will host 6-5, 305-pound Mitchell Schwartz on an official visit in November and are hoping to impress.

Schwartz, a talented prospect out of Palisades Charter High School (Pacific Palisades, CA), made an unofficial visit to UVa this summer. The experience was good enough to get Schwartz back in Charlottesville for the weekend of November 18th, when the Cavs take on Miami.

“It was just the atmosphere of the school and the coaching staff,” Schwartz replied when asked what he liked about his initial visit to UVa. He visited for a preseason practice. “I liked how the coaches ran things. I liked how they worked together. They all seemed like they were having fun.
