UVa has made the final four for 6-5, 295-pound four-star offensive line prospect John Elliott . The East Meadow (N.Y.) star will likely make four official visits – with one coming this weekend – before he makes a commitment to one of these schools. UVa, which will be in-home next week, is certainly recruiting the talented prospect extremely hard.

The final four schools are Boston College, Michigan, Rutgers and Virginia. Rutgers gets the first official visit.

“He’s had some curveballs thrown at him,” East Meadow Head Coach Vinny Mascia said of Elliott. “He was actually going today to visit Boston College, but with the coaching change he decided to go to Rutgers this weekend. He’s not going to visit West Virginia with the Rodriguez situation. He’s going to visit Michigan and Virginia sometime in mid-January. He’s going to take official visits to both schools. And he’s going to see what happens with BC. He’s going to see what happens with the new coach and where he stands once a new coach is in.”
