UVa recently got back into the picture with Vincent Hill , a 5-10, 175-pound wide receiver recruit out of Friendly High School (Fort Washington, MD). Hill, who set a state record for career touchdown receptions with 43, had committed to Akron this past summer before deciding to give Virginia a look. What is the latest with his recruitment?

“Right now, it’s all about getting qualified,” said Hill, who has been timed in the 40 at 4.38 seconds. “I’m in that process. I’m waiting for my ACT scores. If I get the score I need to get and I get qualified, then I’ll go to Akron. If I don’t qualify, then I might go to UVa after I go through a year at prep school.”

Hill seems committed to Akron if he makes the grade.
