Romale Tucker will make a decision within the next few weeks – will he go to Syracuse or will he go to UVa? If Syracuse is the choice, the 6-4, 205-pound outside linebacker prospect will transfer from his current school, Ballou (D.C.), to Milford Academy (N.Y.) next month. If UVa is the choice, he will finish out his senior year at Ballou and then prep for one year at Hargrave Military Academy.

Tucker, who verbally committed to Virginia this past September, explained his situation.

“I’m still with Virginia, but the thing is I went out to Syracuse,” said Tucker, who made an official visit to Syracuse on the weekend of November 18th. “I’m going to go to prep school regardless, but Syracuse offered prep school in January. I could leave Ballou early and go to Milford Academy in January to get my mind away from distractions. Then, next January, I would go to Syracuse.”
