There’s more to Mark Ambrose than football. The tight end from Pennsylvania’s Mt. Carmel High School chose to play that particular sport for UVa, but for reasons than just the game.
“Other schools that I visited would be strong athletically,” Ambrose said, “Or have a strong academic point of view. It was either one or the other, but UVa was well-balanced and had both. I would get something out of my time there, and have a great education to fall back on.”
