The Latest on Romale Tucker’s Situation

In terms of where Romale Tucker will choose to go to college, the situation seems extremely fluid. One thing the 6-4, 215-pound Washington, D.C., standout knows, though, is where he will spend the next semester of high school.

“I’m going to Milford Academy (New York),” said Tucker, who attended Ballou High School this past fall and winter. He attended Coolidge High School his junior year. “I wanted to get away from the distractions here. I need to go somewhere where I can keep focused. I made my bed with my academics, so now it’s something I have to deal with. I have to make it happen because I know how much I’m losing if I don’t. Not a lot of guys have the opportunities I have.”

Yesterday was Tucker’s last day at Ballou. He leaves for Milford tomorrow. The college that first mentioned Milford as a possibility was Syracuse, so does this mean that Tucker has committed to the Orange?
