Next season, Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) returns 16 starters from a team that went 10-2 in 2006. Of the 16 starters returning for next season, Tigers head coach Richard Morgan says three juniors should receive Division 1 offers. In fact, two of them already have.

6-0, 200-pound wide receiver/strong safety Kerry Boykins and 6-2, 190-pound wide receiver/cornerback Todd Harrelson each have been offered by the University of Virginia.

“I have three wide receiver/defensive back types and they are all phenomenal athletes,” Morgan said, referring to Boykins, Harrelson and 5-10, 175-pound Jamal Wilson .

“Kerry is a great all-around athlete. He could play linebacker or safety in college. He is pretty well put together. I think most schools like him at wide receiver because he’s such a playmaker on offense.
