Since making his official visit to UVa in January, 6-5 offensive tackle Lamar Milstead has not had an opportunity to get back down to Charlottesville. He’ll have that chance this weekend, as he plans to attend spring practice at his future school. Milstead discusses what he will look for in the practice, if he has attained the necessary SAT score and what he has been up to in recent months.

“I’m going down this Friday for one of the practices,” Milstead said. “I’m going to watch the entire practice as a whole, but I’m primarily going to be watching the linemen.”

Rated the #23 offensive tackle in the country by Rivals.com, Milstead is UVa’s most highly rated offensive line recruit in the 2007 recruiting class. Since signing with the ‘Hoos in February, he has been following the workout plan given to him by the UVa coaches.
