Virginia was one of three schools to receive a visit from 6-7, 310-pound York (Elmhurst, IL) offensive tackle prospect Neil Deiters last week. Deiters checked out Charlottesville on March 24th, which of course was UVa’s second junior day for the 2008 recruiting class.

“It was good,” Deiters said of the visit to UVa. “I liked it, just seeing the whole college atmosphere. The practice was fun to watch. Those guys were having fun, but it’s a lot of work at the same time. The campus was nice. There is a lot of history there. It was just cool.”

Though Deiters and his family arrived on Friday and left on Sunday, Saturday was really the only day they spent with the coaches.
